A dream I still wait to see coming true…yet I wish the same for those who have hit the dance floor of marriage
A special birthday wish written for a friend…I almost pictured my friend growing as a small child to now…Time flies
You came in to a new world
Unaware of its happenings
A smile on your face and then a little bit of tears
You were then hugged…kissed
Because to someone you were happiness
Someone who took pains…pains for your arrival today
You slowly learnt the rules of life
Making own decisions, for your air you began to strive
Carried yourself in a new way, came across strange moments
Bright days and a joyful life
Your mind sometimes worked just the way it should
Or probably it stumbled somewhere
But now you start compromising with life
And walk into the path that’s just right for you
Seeing what is good and what is bad
And that yes makes you feel glad
Glad because you are growing…growing with this additional year
Past sprouts out somehow … but is different from today
Or did you find it the same way
You prepared yourself before…the same way you do today
Happiness and kindness all should come your way
Because someone like you deserves the best that life can bring
So dream bigger than the year before
And wish for everything!!
Those days in school when your friend becomes your crush and then the crush turns in to love…and then the one you love loves somebody else…
Those were the days when we were together
Had all dreams in heart which would once be fulfilled
Had a special person in this little heart of mine
Someone who influenced my life so much
Shared all sorrows, laughed with every happiness
Those promises made, that surety given
All seemed to me so strong so true
That smile, those eyes every time made my day
For a moment I used to wonder…where did all those cries go?
Happiness seemed to never leave my face
Wonder who interrupted in between
Couldn’t really bare the shock
That separation that parting…unexpected moment came right in front of me
She was with him under my sight
Made my future dreams so light
I could hardly control my tears
They still linger around my eyes
A moment that makes me feel like screaming…screaming on my luck
For it just changed itself…Aah! It pains in my heart
And then this painful injured heart says
‘Love is a Game – there is a looser and a winner
And I have been a looser…Lost the game
Looser in the game of life…
Heart couldn’t have been tested more…school time crush…and then he said he is getting engaged…he asked for a gift…and then this is what I wrote for him…with my feelings buried within my heart since then….
A little conscious a little excited
You are now ready for the day
Day which was for long awaited
Those dreams those aims now seem turning alive
For with true heart for this moment…you have really strived
And then you select the best of dresses
And carry yourself in a new way
Its now that you are heading for a new life
Life of happiness and bright colors
And then around yourself you found a garland of life
Garland filled with flowers of happiness ad contentment
For it is in the name of this day
You now live in a zing of excitement
A little bit of rituals and then that little round thing passes through your finger
And then to her’s too
It is then your heart whispers
‘she is mine because wonderful has my life become’
There is a glow in the ring and then the moment you share
This day is yours and so is captured forever
She is yours today…a moment you waited for is finally here
Sometimes people in life are hard to understand. It’s difficult to really pee-ka-boo into people’s mind sometimes…
Mind seems to be so confused
Seen so many things, gone through so many phases
Difficult to judge who is true and who is false
Seen loving faces everywhere
But a heart of hatred, a heart that never cared
Shouted with anger here and there
Sometimes it smiles and makes me do the same
Converses with a sweet voice and then…Boom!!
Why this sudden change?
Why am I made to be confused?
A different attitude all of a sudden
Heart seems to have become double minded
Left so much for gaining a little
But not a heart to care
Situation changes all of a sudden
And my heart and mind still stands confused

Ma ke aangan mein khela, ma ka hi khaya piya
Jab paairon par khada hua, ye achanak tu kya bol pada?
Hoon main sacha bharatwasi, garv se kehta hai tu
Par sacha bharatwasi kaun hai, kya ye jaanta hai tu?
Ma ke godh mein janma, ma ka bhakt ban gaya
Par kya kabhi ma ka mastishq garv se tune upar kiya?
Yaad kar un veeron ko, kheli jinhone khoon ki holi
Ma ke charnon mein samarpan kar di unhone apni Khushi

And as the hardships of life continued to test me I slowly realized that its nothing but my inner self giving me strength to fight the battle of life….
Walking hand in hand crossing every barrier
Every moment with me you stand
Giving me that strength to fight life boldly
And to overcome every mountain
We both worked faithfully
Couldn’t find anyone
Who could go deep into my heart
And just feel the pain when someone goes apart
